Santorini Tote Sewing Pattern

$10.50

Newly updated 7/2021 with a cutting chart, new diagrams, and fresh links. The original pattern (2016) is still great and works, I've simply updated and refreshed everything.

The Santorini Tote is a great bag to make especially if using unconventional materials such as vinyl or cork.

Three size options are included in the pattern: small or purse size, medium, and large. Finished sizes are approximately (will depend on your bottom corners) 16" x 13",   19" x 16", and 21" x 17".

Pattern pieces are NOT included in the printed booklet - they are rectangles, very easy to measure and cut.

Materials
Purse & Regular size bag:

1/2 YD FOCUS fabric in quilting cotton, canvas, duck cloth, vinyl, upholstery fabric, or faux leather for exterior and straps. OR 1 roll vinyl (18" x 54")
1 YD quilting cotton for lining and optional pockets.
One main zipper cut to size per instructions.
1-4 (13”) zippers for optional zipper pockets.
1 YD foam interfacing or fusible fleece for a slouchier bag. I've also layered SF101 successfully and made many Santorini totes from leftover quilt batting. You decide the look you want, and choose from that.
1.5 YDS Pellon SF101 fusible woven interfacing for the lining and optional pockets.

Large size bag:

1 YD FOCUS fabric OR 1 roll of vinyl (18" x 54")

1.5 YDS lining fabric + pockets
(1) 22” main zipper
1 to 4 (13”) zippers for zipper pockets.
1.25 YD foam interfacing or equivalent, Decovil Light, or fusible
fleece for a slouchier bag.
2 YDS Pellon SF101 fusible woven interfacing or equivalent.
